OUR STORY

A Family-Owned Northwoods Destination

Their story is pretty simple: a 30-year Navy vet and a teacher got married right here, looked up at that big sky, and figured, “Yep… this is home.” The space felt right—quiet, open, and the kind of place where you can hear yourself think and still have a good time.

They packed up from out East and headed out with a little grit and a lot of hope—trading traffic for back roads, and busy days for calm nights. He’s Northern Wisconsin through and through: friendly,

unflappable, always has a story, and pours a drink so stiff it stands at attention. She’s a Jersey girl: quick with a laugh, big on making folks feel welcome, and not afraid to straighten a barstool or two.

Now they’re building a place for good gatherings—a venue, a bar, and a campground—made for weddings, family get-togethers, bonfires, live music, and the kind of nights that end with, “Well… guess we’re staying for one more.
